What if: a person speaking at a city council meeting tells his followers in the meeting room to stand or raise their hands if they agree with what he's saying, but the city council has a rule against that, or say with applause, raising signs, etc.
Didn't the guy with the gun at Kavanaugh's call the cops on himself and have the gun unloaded and in a locked case? Something doesn't add up on that one.
Here is an example of San Diego’s https://docs.sandiego.gov/municode/MuniCodeChapter05/Ch05Art02Division20.pdf
My hand was raised in error.
Thanks, Colleen! didn't want to overlook your question
Tess: got your question. David shares this Watts v. United States, decided by Supreme Court in late 1960s (if I recall the date correctly)
That was the Vietnam-era case David mentioned
Truth! I saw that too.
BOLO = police lingo for “Be on the lookout”
Is that like an APB that we see on cop shows?
APB = All points bulletin
Thank you Tasha for the reminder protesters have to be careful out there.
@ Erik, yes it is Be On the Look Out=BOLO
BOLO redirects to All points bulletin on wikipedia
Yes Pamela it is real out here.
turn off notifications on the locked screen. plain view might apply...
This is true not only at a land border port of entry (e.g., San Ysidro), but also for any international traveler, for example arriving at a U.S. airport from outside the country.

They are ruthless
stingrays are out there
I and another person spoke out, protested, the police and city government enforcing Covid restrictions against businesses and in public parks such as restricting children from using the equipment. Both of us were targeted by code enforcement for violations within two months of speaking at a council meeting. Others in both of our neighborhoods were ignored for the same violations. In our opinion as well as in fact, we believe this is retaliation against our First Amendment rights. What would you suggest as a remedy?
sdpd is very secretive
16 cases with sdpd
stingrays were more recent in San Diego County
what is name of case
its suspected a non profit in San Diego was using stingrays i dunno... taking law enforcement money
where's the article?

So, don’t believe any politicians who run on transparency and limit the publics ability to speak during city council or county meetings.
Roberts Rule of order is helpful for meetings although it is quite long
the Tenants Union was retaliated against, talking about developer interest in elected officials
^ Bane act violations
They can and will arrest you for your social media posts, if they really want to.
This has been wonderful. The legal clarity is much appreciated; and Tasha's dedicated, real world experience is especially valuable.
